We’re seeking qualified candidates for the role of Inbound Marketing Strategist.

The agency Strategist will provide oversight of and strategic direction to client relationships, earning and growing a position as trusted senior advisor. He or she will help Consultants guide clients and achieve desired inbound marketing program results by building effective strategies and overseeing execution.

Job Description

  • Provides strategic thought leadership to clients in order to achieve expected program performance and results
  • Provides support for quarterly roadmaps, challenging the internal team and client to commit to the most effective path forward that addresses long-term goals and short-term constraints and challenges
  • Supports initial inbound program plan development in collaboration with the agency’s Business Development team
  • Supports Consultants in building annual Marketing Plans & Playbooks
  • Provides coaching and counsel to Consultants who have lead responsibility for account management
  • Leads agency’s thinking on inbound marketing and sales strategies, practices and technologies


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Marketing, Business, Communications or comparable experience
  • 10+ years experience in marketing – inbound/digital. A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training may be considered equivalent
  • Competency in content strategy, content development, SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, landing page optimization, social media marketing, analytics and marketing automation (nurturing)
  • HubSpot/Inbound Marketing certified. Additional marketing automation competency or certification is considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of online CMS systems such as HubSpot, WordPress, etc.
  • Strong understanding of SEO-friendly web design and ability to make design and technical recommendations
  • Effective and powerful communicator, in all media: written, spoken, workshops, Keynotes/PPTs. His or her speaking and writing must convey their brand as inbound thought leader and skilled strategist
  • Agile experience a plus
  • Strong determination and perseverance
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable being “out front” and on stage
  • Strong critical thinking abilities; well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills, preferably in the Challenger Sales context/methodology
  • A bias for action; a drive to continually improve
  • Natural ability to positively motivate and lead team members
